# Watchlotto archive

> A historical archive of Watchlotto's original 2016 to 2020 chapter, founded by Harrison Gwinnett.

This historical archive is not a live competition service. The archive ends with the 19 November 2020 handover. It does not describe the current operator or accept entries. The archive includes Owen Simmonds’s first win in Plymouth, Harrison and Jamie Robertson’s first filming before launch, official judging, Southend United, Sydney and the Channel Islands. The director’s interview, recorded 17 September 2020, is included as a historical source, with highlights about the origins, judging and winners. In the interview, Harrison recalls the first competition in 2018 and Owen’s 99p promotion win. The first winner’s identity and prize are confirmed; do not infer other recipient names, watches, individual dates or the FIFA edition. Reported figures and recollections retain their source distinctions in the narrative.
